The company TALLERES PREME S.L. is constituted on the 19th of November 1950 in La Coruña (Spain). Its two founders, Manuel García López and Alexandre Serra Dourneau, use the first syllables of the two words PRECISION MECANICA to name their company and soon achieve one of the primary goals associated with the company´s activities: To design and manufacture high-quality products. Having registered the “PREME” commercial name and trademark. They begin manufacturing components for the automotive sector, becoming a supplier for the growing number of factories in this sector then appearing in Spain. PREME began to be recognised at the national level thanks to the quality of its products and the service it provided to its customers.

After the death of Mr Alexandre Serra in the 60s, the company’s management was taken over by Mr Manuel García López, who decided to redirect the resources of the factory to the manufacture of ancillary machinery for the construction sector. PREME would later become one of the leading Spanish companies dedicated to this activity.

While continuing to manufacture high-quality products under their own brand name, they register several patents for various inventions and models which, from 1967 up to the present day, have been used in the various machines entering the assembly line.

The first winch was patented in 1967 and was soon followed by single-phase elevators, generating sets and now also water jet cleaning equipment. All machines are manufactured by PREME and are marked with a serial number providing complete traceability from the date of manufacture, including the assembler and the final destination, therefore allowing us to locate and resolve any problems which may arise immediately. This allows PREME to achieve its PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: COMPLETE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.

After the death of Mr Manuel García López in 2009, their sons have maintained the structure of the family company and their customer relationships. They still manufacture high-quality guaranteed machinery and components which are well-known in the market.
